This is a terrific restaurant. Everything is homemade and fresh, and the food is really delicious. The service is friendly, low-key, and excellent. We spent four nights in the area and ate here three of the evenings. The strawberry chicken is amazing, and the homemade tomato sauce is great. Even the salmon, which at many places is tasteless, was wonderful.

Went with a friend that had, for a bucket list item, Whitefield Inn Strawberry Shortcake...she's from Florida so...whaaa??? Went with a group of 18 of us...for shortcake... IT WAS all that! It was so good! We need to try the restaurant.

Frozen food is not acceptable in my opinion. Frozen crab cakes, in New England? That's pretty low. The stuff that was fresh/homemade was decent, maybe worth going back for. Unfortunately half the food we ordered was not even made on site. If you go (very few restaurant choices in the area) ask for what's fresh and don't stray. Service was good, the pub has nice ambiance, the dining room seemed boring and not cozy. Appetizer pricing seemed high given the entree prices. Local beer on tap is a plus. *Important*: the fries have sugar on them, and it's not a good thing. Make sure you ask them to omit that, it may not be listed on the menu. Was too disappointed to try dessert, but I can't imagine it's worth it. If you're serving frozen food, your standards aren't high, and dessert is probably the hardest thing to do well.

It's superb..John is great and every corner is so well maintained u can see how much he is involved.Wish him good health and long life ahead and breakfast is superb too.

Joanne and her staff are fantastic. Fine dining or pub menu, there is always something delicious that you will want to have again on your next visit. But you have to leave room for dessert!

We went in last night at the suggestion of Mountainview Grand. We had great food! The staff-the hostess, waitress and owner were super friendly, and beyond accommodating for my food allergies. We wish we found this place sooner. Will definitely come back on our next trip.

The food was pretty good, but higher prices. For me and my 9yr old daughter to eat with a tip it cost $35. I'm not sure if it was because they were super busy, but we waited a long time for our food. As in about 45 minutes and my daughter was very bored and hungry. The waitress was nice enough, but seemed frazzled because of how busy it was. The cook/chef came out and asked us how our food was, which was cool.

We go there anytime we’re in Jefferson, New Hampshire. Located next door to an excellent theatre, this is the perfect place to eat before a play, as the staff makes sure you get to the play on time. Great food, excellent, attentive staff that makes sure you’ve been well taken care off. The bar is a lot of fun: the groups and musicians are fabulous.

I was there 11/11/17 with friends for my anniversary dinner. We all had the prime rib and it was absolutely delish! Great friendly atmosphere, very welcoming. Both my husband and I ad well as our friends had a great night. Wonderful family friendly place, just loved it. 😊

Decent food good service a little pricey for what u actually get Rainbow grill in pittsburg is way better for the money i dont mind paying for a good meal but this was average food cooked by a average cook i wouldnt rank as a chef the reason for the 4 stars was the dervice other than that id give 2-3 stars for food quality

Everything was perfect. The buffalo tater tots were addictive. The salad was fresh and well crafted. I had chicken Mediterranean. The sauce was so delicious. The mashed potatoes tasted like mine!!! Buttery and creamy. The carrots tasted like Thanksgiving. Highly recommend. PS. Owner stopped by which is always a plus.

I had heard of the prime rib, and finally made it up to try it. My meal was absolutely everything that I had heard! I have been trying for some time to find a new spot for decent prime rib, the search is over, you will know my face soon.

Ordered the Summer Salad with Salmon. Very delicious. The cranberries were a nice touch. Service was excellent and staff even made sure we had tickets for our show at the Weathervane theater next door.

Serving already opened bottles of wine is a NO NO! Even if this is cheap wine mondavi whatever... Plus you cannot have a restaurant with carpet on the floor. Good point:The food was Good and the meat cooked the right.

That Chase kid is one of the best prep cooks I've seen in my life. If you pick anywhere in Whitefield I'd pick here during the days he works. 10/10
